The Managing Director of Aston & Fincher, Oliver Fincher, is passionate about the fast-paced sport of squash and sport in the community in general. As well as sponsoring local squash legend Sarah Jane Perry, the World Number 5 ranked player and Commonwealth Games Silver Medallist, Aston & Fincher has supported local sports teams and local sports initiatives.
As part of the build up to the 2022 Commonwealth Games that will be held across Birmingham, an all-glass squash court will be set up in the middle of New Street Station. This is in partnership with amongst others, Rackets Cubed, a charity that runs integrated Racket Sports, education and nutrition programs, and is a program that the company is delighted to support.
From 4-11th April, commuters, local children, keen players and professionals are set to enjoy time on court during a week that is jam-packed with activity.
Aston & Fincher are proud to be the leading sponsor of the event and to help inspire a new generation of players. The public will have the opportunity to take part in open play sessions, as well as take part in taster sessions, watch exhibitions, and meet professional players.
