On 10th October, University of Birmingham Lions Squash team played Pontefact in their first home game of the season. Once again Aston & Fincher are proudly sponsoring the PSL team and look forward to supporting them throughout the season.
For 2019/2020, we have also partnered with It’s a 10, America’s #1 leave-in product, to spread the word of their amazing launch into the UK. The newly launched Premier Tickets holders were issued with a 120ml It’s a 10 Miracle Leave In sample to try for themselves. Gift bags were also handed out among players, which contained some of our favourite brands including Moroccanoil, It’s a 10, GBH and Beauty Pro.
This week, we were also lucky enough to have a visit from Birmingham Lions very own Joel Makin, British number #1 squash player and number #12 in the world! He popped in the see the Aston & Fincher team before heading off to Egypt and Quatar for the World Championships. Joel also played for the Aston & Fincher/It’s a 10 sponsored opening game and won both of his matches for them so far this season.
We’re eagerly looking forward to seeing Joel and the Birmingham Lions play their next home game at Birmingham University on the 28th November and wish them the best of luck!
