Presenting Moroccanoil – Partners of Eurovision Song Contest, Malmö 2024
A group of our Territory Sales Managers and Head Office team had the honour of joining Moroccanoil at Eurovision 2024 in Malmö.
Two semi-finals, VIP parties, a backstage tour, observing Moroccanoil products being used and of course the Grand Final on Saturday 12th May, the team got to experience a little bit of everything Eurovision. We hope all the participants are proud of their incredible performances and we are delighted for winner, NEMO from Switzerland.
Here at Aston & Fincher, we are proud to announce our pivotal role in the successful launch of a new contemporary Hair and Beauty salon at Anchor Point.
Anchor Point is a fantastic community centre, near to our head office and is the headquarters of the Betel charity. Betel is an extraordinary charity that helps people with addictions turn their lives around. Residents stay with Betel for between one and three years, and many then stay and help the charity. Betel manages homes around the world, but the UK and Birmingham are at the heart of their program. The way that they can change peoples’ lives is simply staggering, and to spend time with them is heartwarming and life affirming.
The new ‘museum area’ is the rather lovely themed new informal meeting room for Head Office. Set on the left as you walk into the building, you’re immediately struck by the three striking robes on tailor’s mannequins behind a glass wall. Looking further in you can see cabinets full of trophies and some intruiging items that will be mounted on the walls, including a sword! Happily this is fastened securely to a mounting so prevent anyone recreating scenes from ‘Gladiator’!
Moroccanoil has been the Official Sponsor of Eurovision for the past 3 years, cementing both the brand’s reputation as an authority in hair trends, as well as bringing a real link between fashion, music and hairdressing firmly into the spotlight. This year, their team of world-class stylists head to Liverpool to provide the latest trends and looks to the stars of Eurovision.
The Aston & Fincher team had the honour of attending Eurovision and showing support for our own prestige brand, Moroccanoil. Along with our Territory Sales Managers and Head Office team, we also invited new Moroccanoil Color users to experience this amazing event.
The Commonwealth Games 2022 were held in Birmingham this year and Aston & Fincher are incredibly proud to have sponsored Squash double medallist Sarah-Jane Perry. Taking bronze in the Women’s Singles and silver in the Women’s Doubles, this adds to her Commonwealth Games success in 2018 where she took individual silver.
Recently, we had the honour of venturing to Turin, Italy with Moroccanoil for the 66th Eurovision Song Contest, where they were the official sponsor for the second year in a row.
Based in Lower Gornal Dudley, the Gornal Athletic U9s team are newly formed and at least half the players have not played as part of a team before, so this is a great opportunity for them.
The team required a new away kit along with new footballs and training tops, so Aston & Fincher have sponsored the team and provided these to them.
More than 2,000 people got the once-in-a-lifetime experience to play squash on a stunning all-glass court at Birmingham New Street station from 4th - 11th April.
The eye-catching, modern glass court was installed at the busy commuter station to whet appetites ahead of squash’s starring role at this summer’s Birmingham 2022 Commonwealth Games.
Adriana Olaya, Head of PSA (Professional Squash Association) Foundation said: "Having this court in such a public space was incredible. Every single person that walked through the station this week somehow talked about squash, even if they were just wondering what it was, it made squash stand out.
The Managing Director of Aston & Fincher, Oliver Fincher, is passionate about the fast-paced sport of squash and sport in the community in general. As well as sponsoring local Squash legend Sarah Jane Perry, the company has supported local sports teams and local sports initiatives.
