The Commonwealth Games 2022 were held in Birmingham this year and Aston & Fincher are incredibly proud to have sponsored Squash double medallist Sarah-Jane Perry. Taking bronze in the Women’s Singles and silver in the Women’s Doubles, this adds to her Commonwealth Games success in 2018 where she took individual silver.
“I was extremely proud of that silver medal at Gold Coast 2018 and I’m extremely proud of this bronze medal and being in Birmingham so many of my friends and family were able to come and see me win it. Events like this will inspire kids to take up sport.”
As the games close, it gives us time to reflect on how significant this event has been for the community. Even non-sports fans have got involved and expressed how amazing the city and venues have been!
