Discover the secrets to creating the perfect brow!

Unlock the potential of your clients’ brows by combining Hara Brow Stain and Lamination. Hara Brow Stain can craft an array of brow styles—bold, ombre, brushed tint and hairstrokes. In this blog, we’ll focus on the ombre brow, a style that starts soft at the front and transitions to a darker, more defined tail.

Why brow stain?

Meet Hara Brow Stain, an incredible product that stains the skin for up to 10 days and the brow hairs for up to 6 weeks. Ideal for low-maintenance clients as it eliminates the need for daily makeup application.

What is the difference between stain and tint?

Both are compatible with brow lamination.

Brow stain:

  • Stains the skin for up to 10 days.
  • Stains the hair for up to 6 weeks.
  • Creates a filled in effect to the brows.

Brow tint:

  • Tints only the hair.
  • Tints the hair for up to 4 weeks.
  • Creates a natural finish to the brows.

What is brow lamination?

Eyebrow lamination is a game-changer!

This technique restructures brow hairs, allowing you to control the hair and create any brow look that your client desires.

The Hara brow lamination system has super quick processing times, making your service times quicker and allowing you to book in more clients and make more profit.

How important is prep?

Preparation is key to achieving flawless brows because the brow stain won’t adhere perfectly to the skin if there are dead skin cells creating a barrier between the stain and the skin.

Be sure to exfoliate and cleanse thoroughly to ensure a flawless stain application.

We recommend Hara Brow Scrub and Hara Lash & Brow Cleanser

How do you map the perfect brow?

Mapping the perfect brow might seem daunting, but it’s easier than you think!

It involves using the position of the eyes and nose to determine the ideal brow shape for your client, which is easily achieved by using Hara Mapping Thread.

How are the sharp, clean lines created?

Waxing the excess hair will sharpen up the shape and create a flawless finish. Waxing is a more effective hair removal technique versus tweezing as it is done in one swift motion, making it much faster. Brow razors are another option, although this won’t give you results that last as long as waxing.

We recommend Hara Rosin Free Stripless Wax as it’s consistency is perfect for sculpting brows. It is also rosin and fragrance free making it suitable for even the most sensitive skin.  It can be also reapplied 2 or 3 times and is capable of encapsulating hairs as short as 1mm.

How important is aftercare?

Your client will be leaving the salon with perfect brows but to ensure that they stay looking that way for 6 weeks then make sure they follow these tips:

  • Avoid getting brows wet for 24 hours.
  • Makeup should not be applied for 24 hours.
  • Do not allow prolonged exposure to direct sunlight or use of sunbeds.
  • Use a brow conditioner daily.
  • Tweezing brows in between appointments is to be avoided to maintain the best long term-shape.
  • Do not apply retinol, AHA or exfoliate around the brow area for three days either side of the treatment.
  • No self-tanning products should be used on the face for 48 hours either side of treatment.
  • Staining results will be darker and more defined immediately after the treatment.
  • Oil based make up cleansers can cause the tint to fade faster.
