My name is Holly Bullock and I’m a 21-year-old hairstylist from Suffolk. I specialise in balayage and blonde colouring services. Most of what I know is self-taught but as an apprentice during lockdown, I spent a lot of time watching videos on social media and practicing on my practice head which lead me to find techniques I love. I have also been lucky enough to then go further and train with some of the top colourists in our industry in London.
How long have you been using NXT?
I’ve been using NXT for a short time now after being converted from another brand. I'm loving the colour range and i'm so happy to have already converted almost every client to NXT.
Why do you love using NXT?
I love the NXT colour range because of the versatility of the products and how you can intermix shades to create the perfect custom colour for every client.
What’s your favourite NXT colour?
I am particularly loving the new toner range, and feel it’s come out at the perfect time. I’m loving the bronde/champagne shades (9-22 & 9-72) for winter transformations at the moment. Also the darker shades in the range (7-7 & 6-16) are perfect for root smudges.
What is your best advice for new NXT users?
My biggest piece of advice for NXT users is to try the products without over thinking. Do some swatches to get yourself used to the shades, and then get creative with intermixing the shades and find some combos you love. I then personally like to take a photo and store it on my phone with the combination I used for future reference for both me and my clients.
Do your clients love the results with NXT?
My clients are also loving the NXT colours, I’m having great feedback specially from my regular and longtime clients who are loving the shine and condition of their hair after their services, I think this is due to the added Vitamin E and Argan Oil ingredients.
