Here at Aston & Fincher, we are proud to announce our pivotal role in the successful launch of a new contemporary Hair and Beauty salon at Anchor Point.
Anchor Point is a fantastic community centre, near to our head office and is the headquarters of the Betel charity. Betel is an extraordinary charity that helps people with addictions turn their lives around. Residents stay with Betel for between one and three years, and many then stay and help the charity. Betel manages homes around the world, but the UK and Birmingham are at the heart of their program. The way that they can change peoples’ lives is simply staggering, and to spend time with them is heartwarming and life affirming.
We have supported the Anchor Point project by providing an extensive range of hair & beauty products, alongside luxury furniture to create a fully equipped salon and beauty room for the charity. In additional to material support, we have contributed invaluable product training and imparted knowledge and skills necessary to deliver exceptional service. The expertise also extended to sales and marketing advice, positioning the salon for success from day one. Thank you to all A&F staff involved, with a special mention to Michelle Dunbar, Stephen Ewings, Jayne Covington, and Claire LeBrun for their exceptional work on this project.
A highlight of the opening of the salon was a visit from His Royal Highness Prince William, who took the time to tour the premise and engage with staff and supporters about what the salon means to them and the work they will do there. Oliver Fincher had the immense pleasure of being invited to the opening and meeting His Royal Highness.
“It was an honour to be invited to join the team and welcome Prince William to Anchor Point. HRH spent time in the salon talking to Theresa and her team about what the salon means to them and the work they will do there. He was charming and funny, and the Betel crowd absolutely loved it.” Said Oliver.
Anchor Points new hair and beauty salon “On-Point” opens on 1st June and will serve the local community. It will be a place where Betel residents can remind themselves of lost skills and learn new ones.
